Tripartite talks of URF: State and Central govts gaining momentum

With the Tripartite talk involving United Revolutionary Front (URF), Manipur State and the Central Government gaining momentum, the third round of talks has begun and 29 charter of demands out of the total 31 laid down have been discussed while another three demands are at the initial stage of discussion.
In a brief interaction with media persons at 30th AR camp at Khurkhul today, Khwairakpam Brojendro alias Gopendro, Chief Advisor of KCP (MC) Lalheiba Meitei said that URF is a conglomeration of different KCP factions sharing the same ideology.
The different factions of KCP include KCP (MC) Lalheiba, KCP (MC) Chingkheinganba; KCP (MTF) Sunil Meetei, KCP (MC) Lamyanba Khuman and KCP (KK Nganba).
Apart from this, KCP (MTF) Kesho Meetei and KCP Ibungo Ngangomba are also set to join URF.
He further informed that at present around 100 cadres of URF are staying at the transit camp at Khurukhul.
If a designated camp is provided for the outfit, the strength would reach to around 470.Among the 31 points of charter of demands of URF, the building of work culture and initiation of green Revolution are most important ones as rice is more important than bullets, he observed.
