Imphal, May 23 2010:
Works Minister K Ranjit has said that there is no question of Ministers and MLAs submitting letter to the Chief Minister demanding removal of Consumer Affairs and Food and Public Distribution Minister Y Irabot from the Council of Ministers.
He said, the report that three young Ministers and eight MLAs have put pressure on the Chief Minister to sack Y Irabot is a fabricated news.
Either his removal or inclusion as a minister lies in the power given to the Chief Minister.
There is no use in MLAs and Ministers signing letters to be submitted to the CM.
If the CM feels that a Minister is not cooperative, then he can remove him, Ranjit said.
