Meanwhile, representatives of JAC formed in connection with the killing of Md Sana held a meeting with the Chief Minister today.
However, what transpired during the meeting could not be ascertained till the time of filing this report.
The JAC had, it may be recalled, threatened to impose a 48 hour State-wide general strike from 6 pm of today (April 17) if the demands are not fulfilled.
The decision was taken on April 16 during a meeting which was attended by representatives of various civil society organisations.
At the same time, Khoirom Bebe, who is held responsible for the mob incident on April 12 that resulted in the tragic death of Md Sana, along with her family has been banished from the locality today.

It may be mentioned that an indefinite bandh has been imposed in Yairipok area including Yairipok Bazar since April 13 by the JAC formed in connection with the killing of Md Sana of Yairipok Phoudel.
