The proscribed RPF/PLA has clarified that the outfit has already snapped all connections with Santos alias Khuraijam Duta Meitei (30) s/o Kh Nabachandra of Waikhong Ningthou Manai Mayai Leikai and Solomon alias Sanasam Amumacha (36) s/o S (O) Yaimabi Devi of Waikhong Awang Leikai as per official statements issued on September 6, 2012 and December 31, 2012 respectively.
Santos and Solomon were arrested by police commandos from near Sunrise Ground, Moreh at about 7.30 pm of March 14 along with two pistols.
A press release issued by the outfit's department of publicity chief Bangkim said that Santos and Solomon were repeatedly warned and punished for using intoxicating substances during their stay in a PLA camp.
Despite repeated advice to rectify themselves, they could not mend their ways.
As such, they could not stay within the party any longer and they started staying aloof from the party on their own volition.
After this, Santos and Solomon were given shelter at the camp of 9 AR since August 26, 2012 and December 18.2012 respectively.
They were then given arms and directed to harass innocent civilians.
They were also engaged in running drugs, it alleged.
They were harassing denizens of Moreh with a sinister design to tarnish image of the revolutionary movement when they were apprehended by commandos in the night of March 14, it added.
