After the successful launch of her musical career with the debut Gospel album 'Let there be light', the new singing sensation from Tamenglong district Azeena Pamei is all set for the release of her second Gospel album 'The God whom I can trust' on August 10 .
Keeping with the theme and her conviction, the music album would be released at Tamenglong Baptist Church on Sunday, August 10 .
A sneak preview of the new album shows the originality of the 22-year old singer who graduated this year from Patkai Christian College, Nagaland in Philosophy Honours with music as optional subject.
Talking about her new album in an exclusive chat with The Sangai Express, Azeena, said the 'songs speak about the experiences of her life'.
The album 'The God whom I can trust' comprises mostly of original songs.
The title track as well as others like 'High spirit', 'All to Jesus' have been written and composed by the young singer herself with the help of friends and two other tracks, 'My country' and 'the Lord is my shepherd' by her father Namphu, who is one of the chief functionaries of Rongmei Naga Baptist Association (RNBA).
Coming from a humble family background, Azeena.
the eldest daughter of three siblings born to Namphu and Akam, started singing since she was a little girl.
'My dad who himself is a soul music lover is an inspiration to me', the demure looking lass from Tamenglong headquarters disclosed, adding 'the credit of my singing goes to God and my mother's prayers.
Speaking of her conviction, Azeena said 'There is a God in whom we can put our trust in every step of our lives, and all things are possible in God through faith'.
The latest album which is due to be on the shelves of Evangelical Literature Depot at MBC Campus and Om Books at Khuman Lampak, has been recorded at Clef Ensemble, Kohima, Nagaland and the accompanying video process at Meitha Solution, Dimapur.
Her debut album 'Let there be light' was sponsored by an International Ministry called New Hope Ministry based at Tamenglong.
