Students pulled up from movie hall

In all 28 students have reportedly been rounded up by volunteers of Kangleipak Students' Association (KSA) from Pratap Talkies cinema hall for watching movie during school/college hours and in uniforms of their respective institutions.
speaking to newspersons at its Sega Road head office today, KSA vice president Thangjam Premananda said those pulled up from the cinema hall include nine students of Zenith Academy, five HRD Academy students, three each studying at Brilliance School and Johnstone Hr Sec School, Biramangol College, Budhachandra College and Manipur Public School accounting for two each while one each were from Temple of Learning and Digambar Jain School.
While informing that all 28 are class IX or XII standard students and had either skipped class to watch the movie or sneaked into the cinema hall while shopping for the forthcoming Teachers' Day celebration, Premananda urged school/college authorities to refrain from levying excessive monetary donation from the students for the celebration.
Executive member of Film Forum Manipur namely M Eepu said drive against students watching movies during school/college hours had been jointly carried out by members of the Forum and KSA.
