After 3 days new cases touch double digit with 13 positive

Imphal, February 04 2021:
After three days of single digit spike in the number of positive case, thirteen persons tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 24 hours taking the total number of positive cases to 29,099 .
The number of active cases is 113 while the death toll remains at 372 with no deaths related to Covid in the last 24 hours.
The number of recovered cases has reached 28,614 with a recovery rate of 98.33 percent.
The 13 persons, all civilians who tested positive for the disease in the last 24 hours include 5 males and 8 females.
They tested positive for coronavirus at testing facilities at Churachandpur (5), Raj Medicity (3), Babina Diagnostics (2), Imphal East (1), Advance Hospital (1) and Shija Hospital (1) .
They hail from Churachandpur (5), Thoubal (3), Imphal West (1), Imphal East (1), Bishnupur (1), Kakching (1) and Senapati (1), said Government COVID-19 Common Control Room.
On the other hand, 11 persons have recovered from the disease.
While 9 of them recovered under home isolation, the remaining two have been discharged from Shija Hospital, said the report issued by Additional Director (Health), Dr Sasheekumar Mangang.
The cumulative number of COVID-19 positive cases has reached 29,099 including 25,647 civilians and 3,425 Central security personnel.
The cumulative number of recovered cases has reached 28,614 including 25,204 civilians and 3,410 Central security personnel.
The number of active cases is 113 including 102 civilians and 11 Central security personnel, said the report.
