The proscribed KYKL has punished a person by pumping a bullet on his leg for allegedly misusing the name of the outfit in connection with getting work orders from the Electricity Department.
Accused person is identified as Waikhom Inao Singh son of W Ibomcha Singh of Saijang but presently residing at Andro was paraded before mediapersons somewhere in Imphal East district today.
Inao was reportedly hauled up by a mobile team of the outfit under the command of its Assistant Central Administrative Officer Shanta Achouba.
According to a spokesperson of the outfit, besides Inao two other persons were also involved in getting the work orders from the Electricity Department by misusing the name of KYKL and selling them off to other people.
The spokesperson identified the two accomplices as Nimai of Singjamei Chingamathak and Mohini alias Rabika.
Rabika is said to be wife of one Amubi, who is a personnel of Ist IRB posted at Kangla.
Both Nimai and Rabika have been asked to surrender to the outfit within five days.
The spokesperson warned of giving capital punishment if they fail to do so.
While informing that Inao would be shot on his leg as punishment and handed him over to his family members, the spokesperson also asked Inao to hand over all the money he had received from selling the work orders to the outfit within five days.
