Imphal, December 08 2015:
Amidst all the pressure and lobbying for recruitment of their own family members and relatives, due preparations for holding a written test for recruitment of 120 Nurses in RIMS have been almost completed.
The written test would be held at 1 pm of December 12 at ten centres.
Notably, complaints were filed at Courts including the High Court on the charge of indulging in graft practices in the process of recruitment of staff nurses in RIMS earlier.
Taking serious note of this embarrassing precedents, RIMS authority has taken up stringent measures to conduct the whole recruitment process in a transparent manner so that the appointment is made on purely merit basis.
Some top ranking officials of RIMS told The Sangai Express that the DPC for appointment of the 120 Nurses would be supervised by two officials of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
The two officials of the Ministry are the Nursing Advisor and the Deputy Secretary who has been monitoring RIMS.
Ahead of the written test, different sets of sealed question papers would be sent from outside the State and the question papers would stored in a safe place.
The different sets would be taken out 30 minutes before the exam starts and one set would be selected as question paper of the recruitment test.
Altogether 6000 candidates are likely to appear the test.
Around 300 to 400 candidates would be short-listed after the test and their names would be published on December 13.For this, computerised tabulator has been already arranged, said the officials.
They also appealed to all concerned to desist from offering/receiving bribe.
They further appealed to all the people to file complaints if they find any one offering/receiving bribe.
It has been learnt that some people have been selling sample question papers of the recruitment test and the RIMS authority is investigating into the matter.
