With the stated objective of strengthening the position of the party, a three-day long residential training camp of BJP Manipur Pradesh was inaugurated by the party's North East zonal organising secretary P Chandrashekhar at Bal Vidya Mandir complex, Palace Compound here.
The training programme is part of the party's Nation-wide campaign being conducted under a common syllabus.
Besides State level office bearers, executive members, district level members, frontal cell members and mandal committee members, community leaders from different parts of the State are participating in the training camp.
The training camp is being organised under the aegis of BJP State unit.
The camp would have in all 13 sessions during which the principles, ideologies and philosophies of the party would be discussed and other issues like changing political development in India and election management would be analysed.
National general secretary organisation of the party Ram Lal, National Spokesperson Chandan Mitra and National Convenor (Training) Alok Kumar would be among the resource persons who would deliver lectures on various topics and interact with the campers.
BJP State unit president Sh Shantikumar, Training convenor and State unit general secretary O Shyamo and camp commander and ex-Minister Salam Ibohal were among others who were present during the inaugural function of the training camp today.
