More added to exempted list

Even as the Government has extended the curfew for seven more days till August 3 in view of the increasing number of COVID-19 cases and fatalities it has added some more services to the exempted list.
Accordingly the curfew will not cover opening of Insurance offices on Monday, Wednesday and Friday; veterinary and animal husbandry/dairy for collection and home delivery of milk and feeding of animals and birds in Government farms; e-commerce delivery including vegetable/fish/meat/grocery items/cooked food by authorised delivery staff; CAF&PD and FCI office can function at minimum staff; Forest Department can resume tree plantation and movement for feeding animals in Zoo and National Parks and officials and workers engaged in projects undertaken by NHIDCL/Asian Development Bank and Railways.
The services that are already included in the exempted list in the previous order includes vaccination (person related to vaccination drive and persons to be vaccinated should mention place of vaccination site when ask for); services and people relating to COVID-19 testing; medical services (hospitals/clinics/pharmacies); water and power supplies; police; telecom/internet services; air travel; agriculture/horticulture related activities (without crowding and eating together); garbage clearance; petrol pumps; LPG distributors; goods trucks/officials of district administration/COVID-19 management staffs; print and electronic media; post office (with minimal staff for urgent office work and delivery); banking and ATM services on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10 am to 2.30 pm .
