No let up, NIA continues raid

Imphal, April 28 2011:
After raiding Lamyanba Pakhang publications yesterday, the NIA (National Investigation Agency) team raided two private residences at Wangkhei today.
A reliable source informed that the house located near Eastern Ground belongs to one Yumlembam Brajabidhu.
Notably, the NIA team after raiding Lamyanba Pakhang seized some documents and a hard disk of the main computer of the vernacular daily Ereibak.
Brajabidhu is a relative of Wangba, a leader of the proscribed UNLF.
He is also a proprietor of a fruit processing industry called Aegis, located at Luwangshangbam Matai village.
The complex of Aegis was raided by the NIA team yesterday.
Brajabidhu also owns an oil pump, informed an independent source.
However, it could not be confirmed whether the NIA seized anything from his house.
The same team further raided another house located at Wangkhei Ayangpalli which belongs to one Ibomcha.
Details of the raid could not obtained till the time of filing this report.
It is reported that the NIA conducted the raids acting on a search warrant issued by the Special Judge, NIA Guwahati.
on April 19 .
The raid at Lamyanba Pakhang complex was conducted with reference to the case registered under FIR No 10/10, 17/09/2010 u/s 120 (B), 121 (A), 122, 468 IPC and 10,13 UA (P) Act 1967 .
