Liangmai Naga Council (LNC) observed a special prayer for an early settlement of Indo-Naga Framework Agreement at CCBC, Kanglatongbi on August 3 .
Many Church, village, women and youth leaders took part in the programme, said a statement.
Speaking at the occasion, LNC president R Machun-doubou appealed the Liangmai people to stand united for the cause of Naga National interest and not engage in any issues which will create division and misunderstanding among Liangmais.
NPF Manipur State unit secretary R Aripou spoke on the unique history of the Nagas and the Framework Agreement inked on August 3 last year.
He said that Nagas have no future under the present 'divisive and communal' Government of Manipur.
He urged the Government of India to bring the Naga political issue to its logical conclusion which is acceptable to the Nagas.
Aripou also appealed the Liangmais to stand united politically and pray for the leaders who are engaged in the peace process.
