According to Singsit Organisation, the inimitable Pasut performed the Thadou Traditional War rituals by piercing Mithun's side thrice with a spear and chopping off its tail thereby declaring war on the mighty British imperialism on March 17, 1917, at Jampi village in Manipur.
Pasut Singsit spearheaded many attacks on the British forces and became a thorn in their side during the Thadou Gal (Thadou War) from 1917-1919 .
