NJJM capacity building prog concludes

Imphal, September 13 2022: The 4-day capacity building training programme on National Jal Jeevan Mission (NJJM) organised by Downtown Charity Trust, at The New Hotel Anand Continental, Khoyathong Road, Thangal Bazar concluded on Tuesday.

A total of 61 participants including members of VWSC, Self Help Groups and Gram Panchayat of Thoubal district and members of ISA in Thoubal attended the programme.

On the third day of the programme, participants were taken to Tharoijam village to practically demonstrate water treatment plant under the NJJM followed by resource mapping of the PRA through FTK demonstration.

As a part of the valedictory function, certificates were distributed to all the participants by Communication & Capacity Development Unit, PHED director Kh Leena Devi; JJM, PHED nodal officer Rajkumar Somio and CCDU PHED state consultant Bishken Mutum.
