Demise of eminent personalities condoled

Various organisations have conveyed deep condolences over the demise of many eminent personalities of the state and prayed for the departed souls to rest in peace.
In separate releases, Leihou Khunai Kanba Luptin (LKKL), All Manipur Women's Social Reformation & Development Samaj (Nupi Samaj) and Yelhoumee Kanba Apunba Lup (YKAL) condoled the untimely demise of Momnu Irik Khombi Lup (MEKHOL) president Ema Akoijam Janaki Leima, who breathed her last on May 23.Meanwhile, All Manipur College Teachers' Association (AMCTA) held an online condolence meeting on Wednesday to condole the sudden and untimely demise of Mayai Lambi College Department of English HOD Dr M Mani Singh on Tuesday while RIMS Imphal director Prof A Santa Singh, medical superintendent Prof H Priyosakhi Devi, dean (Academic) Prof Brogen Singh Akoijam, chief warden Prof Sanjib Nepram, faculty members, wardens, officials, staff and students deeply mourned the demise of RIMS 8th Semester student Harsemran Singh, son of Jitendra Singh.
Manipur Amateur Kho-Kho Association (MAKKA) also convened an emergency executive council meeting at BASU Office Complex, Khangabok on Wednesday to condole the death of former MAKKA chairman Wahengbam Thoiba Meitei on May 24 due to Covid-19 .
