Ex-MLA Subashchandra assures help in combating Covid-19

Ex-MLA of Naoriya Pakhanglakpa A/C Soibam Subashchandra has exhorted the people of his constituency not to be disheartened in combating the infectious Covid-19 pandemic due to lack of an MLA in the constituency.
The ex-MLA distributed T-shirts to the volunteers of Community Home Isolation Centre set up at Megha High School, Malom and extended a sum of Rs 10,000 and potable water to CHIC set up at Kamakhya Pemton College on Sunday.
Speaking on the sidelines of distributing the items, ex-MLA Subashchandra informed that he has been providing all possible help to the CHICs and the inmates.
The problem of electricity in CHIC set up at Kamakhya Pemton was fixed by him.
Monetary assistance will be extended to the CHIC if the number of Covid-19 positive patients increase, he assured.
The ex-MLA further said that even though he has resigned from being an MLA, he has been taking up all necessary initiatives for the welfare of the people in the constituency just like in other constituencies that have MLAs.
