Imphal, May 18 2021:
BJP Manipur Pradesh spokesperson M Asnikumar has slammed the Congress party and expressed displeasure over recent leaks of Congress toolkits, saying the expose has brought to light party's real intention on the pandemic.
The BJP leader said that Congress party has been exposed yet again and this has brought to light how the party will go to any length and use any situation to gain political mileage.
He said that the recent exposure has shown that the party doesn't have any moral conscience at all.
Asnikumar further said that Congress party is led by a man who stays half the year outside the country and it is highly unlikely that the party will understand the problems of the public.
For 70 years they sucked the blood and soul of this country to fill their coffers and became insecure when the BJP government started to achieve and deliver things to the public in just seven years what they couldn't do in more than half a century of remaining in power, he maintained.
Their insecurity has now culminated into a full-blown mission to use this difficult situation that the whole country is facing for creating confusion and taking advantage of such situations for their own gains.
Everything they have done since the pandemic started is unethical on every ground, particularly on humanitarian grounds, Asnikumar said.
"Creating confusion over the indigenous vaccines, something which every Indian ought to be proud of, and doing nothing meaningful to help the people but constantly criticising the government without any grounds are some instances of the diabolic plan of the Congress.
Indians will win this battle collectively and see a new dawn.
The Congress is more than welcome to join this collective fight but if they do not have any desire to join the fight, it's on them," he said.
Maintaining that history won't be kind to those who chose to play politics when people's lives are at stake, the BJP spokesperson said that engaging in blame games amid the pandemic was never BJP's intention and will never be.
But their constant attacks on the handling of the pandemic are highly disrespectful to those who are working sleepless nights to save lives and BJP is compelled to respond with facts, he added.
