Thangal urges blockade relaxation for thanksgiving

The Thangal Union (Thangal Khanglong) would be celebrating the Thangal tribe modification thanksgiving celebration on May 19 at its Yaikongpao (Tagaramphung) headquarters, Senapati district.
In this regard, General Secretary of the Union Ambition Anth has appealed to the Kuki State Demand Committee (KSDC) for relaxation of the proposed highway blockade on May 19 and allowing free movement of the invitees, participants and dignitaries in the interest of the general public and Thangal people in particular.
The thanksgiving celebration would be attended by Minister of Irrigation and Flood Control & Printing & Stationery Ngamthang Haokip, Minister of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj & Economics and Statistics Francis Ngajokpa, former MP of Outer Manipur Parliamentary Constituency Mani Charenamei and President of Thangal Union H Khangba as Chief Guest, Guest of Honour, Functional President and Special Guest respectively.
