Widows provided Covid relief materials

Thadou Students' Association, Sadar Hills in collaboration with 38 Assam Rifles Kangpokpi Post under the aegis of 22 Sector AR IGAR-E reached out to widows of Kangpokpi district with various COVID relief materials on Tuesday.
A team of TSA Sadar Hills led by its COVID-19 vaccination team convenor Lamminsei Sitlhou, Thadou Women's Association GHQ general secretary Roina Kipgen and the Assam Rifles team visited around 25 widows at various places and provided essential items including rice, dal, oil, protective gears, etc.
Speaking to media persons, Lamminsei Sitlhou informed that TSA had identified the eligible widows for the relief materials sponsored by the Assam Rifles and handed over to them on Tuesday, adding that TSA Sadar Hills will continue to reach out to all eligible widows in Kangpokpi district during these testing times.
He also said that apart from helping the widows, TSA Sadar Hills vaccination team will embark on an awareness campaign in all COVID-free villages in Kangpokpi district in collaboration with village authorities and conduct mass vaccination in collaboration with the respective COVID Task Force teams and medical department.
