MSAD flays MPs for inaction on Delhi Murder

Expressing strong exception to the continued hate crimes of racial discrimination against people of north eastern origin in the national capital, Manipur Students' Association Delhi (MSAD) has condemned the incident of murder of a Manipuri youth at Kotla Mubarakpur in Delhi at the wee hours of July 21 .
In a press release issued today, MSAD shared the pains of the bereaved family of Salouni from Senapati district of Manipur, who had fallen victim to the unfortunate incident perpetrated by the mainland Indians.
It termed the murder of the Manipuri youth by five persons in Delhi as a cowardly act and against the people of the north east as a whole.
Prior to this, there have been innumerable cases of tortures and drastic killings of north easterners, sexual assaults and rapes of girls from the region, the press release said, while lamenting that justice has not been delivered to any of these the victims so far.
During such events, the students have always been taking ardent responsibilities by resorting to various agitations to bring in justice, it continued while seriously charging the Manipur government, MPs and Resident Commissioner of Manipur Bhavan for their inaction on such crimes.
The MSAD is planning to launch further course of stir against such incidents, the release informed.
