Bishnupur logs six deaths, 90 new cases

Imphal, July 21 2021:
Informing that Bishnupur district reported a total of six deaths due to Covid-19 and 90 new cases in the past 24 hours, the daily bulletin issued by District Information Officer, Bishnupur on Wednesday said that the infectious disease has so far claimed the lives of 184 denizens.
All the 90 new cases detected on Wednesday are from among the general population, according to the bulletin, adding that the district's active cases now stand at 1012 with one patient belonging to the CAPF.
It also stated that out of the active cases, 387 are in community isolation centres, 355 under home isolation, 126 at hospitals outside the district, 44 at CCC Bishnupur, 53 at CCC Ningthoukhong, and 35 in isolation ward, three in high dependency unit and nine in emergency ward of the district hospital.
There are a total of 68 patients who are in need of oxygen support while seven patients are below the age of 18 years.
The report also informed that a total of 94,670 have been vaccinated in Bishnupur district so far with 3483 persons administered the COVID-19 vaccine on Tuesday.
Of the total, 87,667 had their first dose and 7003 second dose.
