National seminar on 'youth for good governance'

Imphal, May 28 2013:
NSS Cell, Manipur University (MU) and state NSS Cell Manipur in collaboration with all the NSS units of Manipur would organise a day-long National seminar on 'youth for good governance' at the Centenary Hall of MU on 30th May 2013 .
Informing this in a statement, Dr Ch Ibohal Singh, Programme Coordinator of NSS Cell, Manipur University said that the seminar would be of first of its kind in the state.
Personalities from Rajya Sabha Secretariat, Parliament of India; intellectual from different parts of the country, social thinkers, professors and scholars from the university and government executives are expected to present papers on the theme and sub-themes of the seminar.
Distinguished resource persons like M C Raj, Chief Functionary of CERI, Bangalore and P Birchandra Singh, Programme Officer, NSS-Unit-I Manipur College would attend the seminar as moderator and rapporteur respectively.
Prof, CJ O'brien, Department of English, MU; Dr N Sushilkumar Singh, Associate Professor, Department of Communication Management & Technology, Guru Jambheshwar University, Haryana; Dr A Birajit Singh, Columnist; Dr Y Janu Singh, Additional SOI, NIC Secretariat, Imphal; Prof.S Lokendrajit Singh, Department of Philosophy, MU; Prof.W Nabakumar Singh, Director Center for Myanmar Studies, MU; Dr M Nara Singh, National Coordinator, CERI and Dr Yugal Rayalu, Head, Vocational Department, Dharampeth Science College, Ambazari, Nagpur would talk on different topics related to youth and governance.
A part of the seminar and a tribute to Bishwa Kavi Rabindranath Tagore, a ballet 'Kabulliwallah' will also be performed by Manipuri Jagoi Marup.
