CNPO urges locals to support proposed KVS at Chakpikarong

People of Chakpikarong must be all happy to welcome the proposed set up of KVS in the periphery of the town and extend fullest cooperation to the move of the government that aimed to bring better quality in the area.
This was stated by president of Chandel Naga People's Organisation (CNPO) Ws Kanral Anal while addressing the gathering of publics, staffs and students, surrounding chiefs and others as the Chief Guest on the occasion of the closing ceremony of Chakpikarong Govt High School weeklong annual sports meet held at the school premises yesterday.
Acknowledging the lack of infrastructures of Chakpikarong Govt High school and the poor number of teachers posted against the requirement of the total sanctioned post supposed to be in the school, the president endorsed to support the call on the state government to address the grievances besetting the school, which the President of ANCACSD Rd Thumdang highlighted in the speech before the CNPO president.
Speaking on the importance of spots in education, the public leader advised students not to take sports lightly but play with determination, commitment and discipline.
Maj Bupinder Verma while speaking as the guest of honour of the function, projected Manipur as an important part of the globe as far as the sports map of the world is concerned, encouraged the staffs and parents present on the day for their noble service in preparing the future of the students.
The closing day was marked by a competition of Anal cultural dance between the four divided houses of the students and distribution of the prizes.
Organized by the staffs of the school in collaboration with the School Management Development Committee (SMDC), Maj Bupinder Verma of 32 AR Salluk post, Chairman of the SMDC HL Thungam and President of Anal Naga Chiefs' Association Chakpikarong Sub division (ANCACSD) Rd Thumdang made their presence as Guest of Honour and important dignitaries on dais.
