Imphal, May 11 2012:
Coming down hard on the alleged fake encounter carried out by 23 AR at Chadong, the proscribed revolutionary organization, United National Liberation Front (UNLF) in a statement slammed the Assam Rifles over its 'habit and mastery in staging fake encounters' .
While calling the people to realise the truths behind the encounter killings of the Indian security forces and their outlook towards the people of the state, UNLF stated that 'this is the fate of those who deserted the revolutionary organisations without even thinking for their future' .
It is the nature of the Indian security forces to use those who surrendered against the ongoing freedom movement with various anti-social elements and killed them when they become useless or refuse to act on their behest.
The reason for killing the three cadres who were handed over to Major Hanuman of 23 Assam Rifles by their parents may be because they might have refused to obey their orders.
The incident will also raise awareness on the truth behind the surrendering to the Assam Rifles for some mere benefits, the statement added.
