Water Storage tank distributed

Bishnupur, February 05 2021:
As a part of the Civic Action Programme 2020-2021 for Manipur and Nagaland Sector, the 32 Battalion CRPF of Loktak Project distributed 200 litre water storage tanks to 75 beneficiaries of Sadu village, Nepali Basti village and Ningthoukhong Council ward number 2, Shantipurat Shantipur, Bishnupur district, today.
The programme was attended by DIGP M & N Sector CRPF, Suresh Sharma; Commandant 32 Battalion CRPF, H Ranjit Singh; secretary Sadu United Club, N Kanta Singh; K Monthabipou of Sadu village; T Ibobi Singh of Shantipur; Kumar Pokhrel of Nepali Basti; 2IC 32 Battalion CRPF, VK Singh; Deputy Commandant 32 Battalion CRPF, Seikholen Haokip and Deputy Commandant 32 Battalion, Bhaskar Bhattacharya as presidium members.
Addressing the programme, DIGP Suresh Sharma stated that the distribution programme was organised to help the poor villagers at remote locations.
Skill development programmes for the youth have also been taken up for the villagers.
He further mentioned that such programmes will reduce the gap between the CRPF and the villagers and assured to organise more events in the future for the welfare of the people.
The representatives of the villages and beneficiaries expressed their appreciation and gratitude to the CRPF for organising such programmes to help the people.
