BJP to field candidates in both Lok Sabha seats

The national leaders of Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) have instructed the State functionaries to field candidates in both parliamentary constituencies of the State in the coming Lok Sabha Election, General Secretary (Media Affairs) of BJP Manipur Pradesh Moirangthem Ashwinikumar told Hueiyen Lanpao today.
As per the instructions, the State BJP has formed 18 election committees after holding several meetings.
Moreover, five committees have also been set up to organize meetings at Inner and Outer Constituencies.
The meetings would be completed by October 5, he said.
Ashwinikumar further informed that Dr H Borbabu has been made the in-charge for Manifesto Committee; Salam Ibohal for Vision Documentation Committee; M Ashwnikumar and L Basanta for Publicity and Propaganda Committee; S Rajen for Organizing Committee; Dr Usham Deben for Parliamentary Wise Sammelan Committee; N Kaisii for Category Wise Conference and Meeting Committee; P Somojit for New Voter Related Registration Committee; I Mangiton and M Prafullo for Conventional Campaign Committee; Satyabhama and Dr N Nando for Intellectual Conference Committee; Danny Shaiza and Th Nandakishore for Simple Contact Campaign Committee; Ksh Bhavananda and Th Shyamo for Electoral Organization Committee; M Bhorot and L Jatra for Committee on Charge-sheet against Congress and UPA Government; Ch Chidananda and N Mohen for Information and Communication Committee; H Kangjaba for Public Participation and Operation Assessment Committee; Ksh Brajamani and Sarda for Committee on Preparing Literature; Dr Th Ramabai and Y Ratikanta for Organization and Transport Committee; Kh Raghumani, Rupachandra and Sadananda for Committee on Election Campaign Related Legal Matters; and Robin Blacky, Nasir Hussain and Kh Nabachandra for Booth Coordination Committee.
The candidates for both Inner and Outer Constituencies have not been finalized.
Discussions are still going on for selection of the candidates.
The candidates would be the people's favourite leader having firm commitment and integrity, he maintained.
It may be noted that Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi would take the pivotal role in BJP's campaign for the coming Lok Sabha Election.
The Party hopes to regain power at the Centre by capturing more than 272 parliamentary seats in the coming election.
