BDS students inducted

Dental College of RIMS has inducted the newly admitted students in a formal function at its Mini Auditorium on Wednesday.
Prof.S Sekharjit, Director RIMS; Prof.N Damayanti, HOD, Anatomy; E Debendro, Deputy Director (Adm); T Nabachandra, Principal i/c; Prof D Kausik, Dean (Academic) and members of Dental College Development Committee were attended the function.
The classes would be beginning once the Manipur University gives the nod.
There are 50 seats in the college in the college of which 15% seats are set aside for the all India quota.
The remaining seats will be shared by the North East states excluding Assam.
He also explained the facilities available in the RIMS and what courses the BDS students shall undergo in the four-year study plus 1year internship.
Addressing the students at the function, Damayanti asked the students to learn to stand in their own legs since they no longer will get direct support from parents now.
The rules and regulations are very strict and any violation shall not be tolerated.
