Delhi Tourism and Transportation Development Corporation (DTTDC) will lease out all 20 food stalls including Manipur Cuisine at Pitampura Dilli Haat here.
In this connection, Delhi Tourism has invited tenders in two bid system.
Food stalls to be leased out are Coffee Bar, Delhi Cuisine , U P Cuisine, Punjabi Cuisine, Rajasthan Cuisine, Maharashtra Cuisine, J & K Cuisine, Tamil Nadu Cuisine, Kerala Cuisine and Continental Popular Cuisine in the western side and Indian Popular Cuisine, Assam Cuisine, Manipur Cuisine, West Bengal Cuisine, Gujarat Cuisine, Sikkim Cuisine, Uttaranchal Cuisine, Goan Cuisine, Bihar Cuisine and Chinese Cuisine in the eastern side of the Pitampura Dilli Haat.
Tender document containing detailed terms and conditions including reserve price, date of opening of tender and area of food stalls can be collected from the Cashier at Pitampura Dilli Haat against the payment of Rs.520/-.Tender document can also be downloaded from DTTDC website- delhitourism.gov.in.
Last date of sale of tender is 21.06.2009 .
Pitampura Dilli Haat, the second Dilli Haat in the national capital was inaugurated on April 13 last year by the Chief Minister of Delhi Sheila Dishit.
Developed in an area of 7.2 acre at a cost of Rs.31.35 crores, Pitampura Dilli Haat is envisaged in a well-planned space with provisions for cultural activity, designed for demonstration and exhibition of traditional craft with eateries and shops to generate public activity in the area.
More spacious than the Dilli Haat at INA market, the new Pitampura Haat has 108 craft stalls, 20 food stalls with capacity of 400 persons in the food court, an air-conditioned restaurant with seating capacity of 60 persons at ground floor, a multipurpose pavilion for craftspersons with a capacity of 100 display exhibit, an amphitheatre with a capacity of 450 persons, an art gallery, a double storeyed dormitory for craftspersons with a capacity of 96 beds, parking facility of 232 cars and 210 two wheelers in basement, a spice market, a sculpture court and large landscape greens.
