RPF slams DGP, says Police lack ideology

The proscribed UG group RPF today slammed the Director General of Police (DGP) Y Joykumar and said that it is not the revolutionary organisations that lack ideology but the Manipur Police led by him.
In a press statement, RPF stated that it is unfortunate that the DGP has made allegations against the revolutionary organisations to cover up his inability to maintain law and order in the state.
RPF also alleged that it is the DGP who propped up the group who used the name of revolution to kill the innocent father and son duo.
The Manipur police could have easily traced the father-son duo during the 10 days of their captivity before they were murdered but it didn't do so.
It is a solid example of cowards ruling the state and maintaining law and order in the state, RPF stated.
Brave men feel pleasure in facing great dangers and cowards run away on the slightest sign of danger.
The DGP who instead of facing the real threats to the society is engaged in running down the revolutionary groups, it stated.
RPF further expressed its suspicion whether the state forces under the DGP were involved in the killing of the father and son duo and expressed the possibility of the state police asking the kidnappers for 50 percent share of the ransom money.
It cited a recent case where a HIV positive leader of a KCP group under the SoO and supported by the DGP, presently staying at the camp of 7 MR at Khabeisoi called contractors of FCI at the AR Transit Campt at Minuthong and collected a large amount of ransom.
RPF questioned why the DGP did not take up any action against the Commander of 23 AR Major Rana who is involved in the extortion act.
It further alleged that the Manipur Police is supporting many anti revolutionary organisations and their members who are in the jail and used them to carry out extortion, kidnapping and other anti social activities to mislead the ongoing revolution in the state to the people of both the state and the world while adding that the Chief Minister also might have the full knowledge of these activities.
Questioning the motive behind the emergence of many anti social organisations in the name of revolution and their sustenance in the society, RPF stated that it is an easy task for the Manipur Police to finish these organisations but they are not doing anything to control these groups.
It further alleged that DGP is the man who is creating social unrest in the state not the revolutionary organisations while adding that he will not gain anything by challenging the revolutionary organisations.
RPF also stated that Manipur was an egalitarian society with its own language, culture, script and religion before the Constitutions of United Kingdom was written during the reign of King John-II and even before the emergence of ideology in Greek, and Latin American civilisation while adding that the democracy of India based on capitalist ideology is not suited in Manipur.
It also stated that RPF welcome the proposal of the DGP who asked the revolutionary organisations to come out and do something for the people.
It also asked the DGP not to mislead the revolution to the people by taking the words of some deserters who cannot follow the rules and guidelines of the organisations.
