Imphal, December 26 2011:
By dubbing the revolutionary groups of Manipur as bereft of ideology and principle, 57 Mountain Division GOC Bijoy Poonnen and DGP Y Joykumar were floating a very base propaganda, alleged the UNLF in a press release issued by its senior publicity officer Ksh Yoiheiba.
Repressive measures, murders and anti-social activities being witnessed in the society are all perpetrated by the Indian military and some of the police commandos led by DGP Joykumar, it alleged.
Fake encounters, murders and other anti-social activities have been exposed by the local media and other media houses like Tehelka have exposed that these activities were perpetrated by the Indian military and police commandos with a motive to project the revolutionary movement in the wrong light.
This was testified by the damning photographs which captured the sequential murder of Sanjit and Rabina in the heart of Khwairamband Keithel on July 23, 2009 .
Even today, people have a nagging fear to go around with any amount of money because they have an apprehension that they might be killed in fake encounters by police commandos just to loot their money.
All these activities perpetrated by those patronised by the Indian military and police commandos under DGP Joykumar and these groups have no ideology or principle.
In the course of liberation movement of any occupied nation, it is natural for the revolutionary groups to come into confrontation with anti-revolutionaries.
Even if some reactionaries managed to sneak inside the revolutionary groups, their true colours would be exposed before long.
Being a collaborator of the alien, DGP Joykumar knowingly turned blind eye when many women of the land were raped and a number of people murdered by the Indian military, the UNLF alleged.
