Big horse for state polo players soon

Now Polo players of the state will have the opportunity to play Polo with big horses, according to a source of the Manipur Horse Riding and Polo Association.
According to the source, the 57 Mountain Division will be acquiring 16 big horses and keep them at Leimakhong.
The maintenance of the horses will be done by the Indian Army and it will be used by the players of Manipur Horse Riding and Polo Association.
Meanwhile a team of Manipur Horse Riding and Polo Association on Sunday presented an exhibition match at the Fort Williams, Kolkata after the final match of an international tournament sponsored by the Eastern Command of the Indian Army.
Enthralled by the match, Railway Minister Dinesh Dwivedi presented Rs 1 lakh to the team and told them that he will sponsor and promote the game.
