Ray of hope for Tamenglong children home

Tamenglong, October 20 2013:
Janghemlung Panmei, MLA of 53- Tamenglong (ST) AC along with Charles Liangdiyang ADC Tamenglong and workers of MLA on Sunday visited the Zaozian Children Home at Tamenglong run by Indigenous Women and Children Foundation (IWCF) Tamenglong.
Around 20 children in the age group of 7 to 14 years are staying in the home.
Most of the children in the home are victims of human trafficking who are in need of care and protection from various emerging social and family problems.
While appreciating the works of Indigenous Women and Children Foundation, Tamenglong, MLA Janghemlung Panmei said, "This is not an end, but this is just beginning.
Let joins hand together and look for the better future society" .
While responding to a memorandum submitted by the inmates, MLA Janghemlung Panmei assured to provide solar set of 400 watts capacity; syntax water reservoir of 10,000 litres capacity and six sets of computers for the Zaozian children home very soon.
The MLA also said that his door is always open for the Indigenous Women and Children Foundation and Zaozian children home and appealed to all the inmates to love each other like their own sisters.
