Superintendent clarifies

Imphal, October 20 2013:
Regarding a brief disruption of the rallyists of Mera Hou Chonga by Kangla Fort officials from entering into the fort on October 18, Superintendent of State Archaeology, K Dinamani has clarified that the misunderstanding was due to short notice given by the organisers of Mera Hou Chongba.
In a press release, the Superintendent said that the request for entering into the fort was received late as such it took time to take permission from the Chief Minister, who is the Chairman of the Kangla Fort Board.
He also requested all concerned to inform or take permission 15 days in advance for such occasions.
