Imphal, April 21 2011:
The repeated implication of "Meitei" in certain unrelated matters by NSCN-IM exposes Th Muivah's narrow minded politics which is becoming clearer by the day, the United National Liberation Front (UNLF) alleged, in a email statement signed by its senior publicity officer Ksh Yoiheiba dispatched today.
The statement goes on to say that this is nothing serious because most Nagas including his own Tangkhul community has realized the cheap politics of Muivah.
They have also started distancing from him.
This is a clear example that among the communities that form Nagas, many have come to realise the truth of the origin of the peoples of the state.
They have realized that Muivah's politics was behind the unhealthy relationship that had and have been developed among the different Naga communities and also with other communities residing together in the region.
Knowing this, despite repeated attempts to sow hatred amongst the people, many communities in Manipur are still living in harmony.
Living in harmony among the different communities is an exasperation for Muivah.
That was why he is trying to implicate "Meitei" while levelling charges against Phungyar's MLA, Wungnaoshang Keishing, after the April 15 failed assassination bid.
On such false charges have many Tangkhul people been killed by Muivah.
In similar manner, many Nagas in Nagaland had also been killed by Muivah, the statement alleged saying that 'This must be noted by the Nagas, particularly by Tangkhul brothers and sisters' .
Muivah talks about reconciliation of Nagas but acts by killing cadres of other outfits of the same community.
This has led to disbelief of Muivah among the Nagas, the statement went on to assert.
After knowing the hidden agenda of Muivah and his politics, people of Zeliangrong, Mao, Tangkhul and Maring had distanced themselves from him and started working for the development of the state by forming their own organisations, the statement added recalling past actions of Muivah's ethnic cleansing drives which would forever remain in the history of the state.
