Secretary TAD, Government of Manipur in the presence of Gaikhonlung, IRS, Income Tax Officer, Government of Manipur and Singh Sit, IPS officer on Saturday.
Five kilometer stretched road was constructed by Armstrong Pame along with villagers without any government fund.
Apart from giving a good road, Armstrong Pame also distributed blankets for older persons of New Impa village with the coming of winter.
Penetration of vehicle into the village had been a dream to many people of Impa village.
There were MLAs and Ministers from the most backward places of sub- divisions like Tousem.
However, they were never concerned about construction of a road despite of many requests, narrated 82 years old man called Reitet.
Expressing his sincere and profound gratitude to Armstrong Pame from the Zeliangrong community, Reitet said that Armstrong Pame has done more than MLAs and Ministers did.
"We never expect such things in life.
Armstrong Pame is like Jesus for us.
With the penetration of vehicle into our village, we have seen and done great things for future generation.
Now we will die happily, peacefully and satisfactorily", said Reitet.
The villagers were so happy to see the vehicles parking in their village.
In the meantime, the Zeliangrong Pui Baudi Manipur also congratulated Armstrong Pame, and hoped that he will continue to render his service and look after the most backward places of the sub- division.
