Vehicles stranded at Armajan Meetei village in Assam

Imphal, December 21 2016:
About 25 Wingers and 2 buses which provide passenger services along Imphal � Dimapur road are presently camped at Amrajan Meetei village, Assam, as the instances of burning down vehicles continue in the State.
Villagers of Amrajan village, All Assam Manipuri Student Union, Bokajan branch, Karbis, Adhivasis and Nepali youths, are providing food and portable water to the stranded drivers and handymen of these vehicles.

They have appealed to the UNC to lift their indefinite economic blockade and NSF's ban on movement of passengers vehicles.
Eleven Imphal bound buses and 15 wingers had returned to Guwahati and Shillong as they are afraid of travelling past Senapati town, a statement informed.
