Imphal, December 21 2016:
The Peoples' Resurgence and Justice Alliance (PRJA) has decided to contest the coming 11th State Assembly election with five candidates under its wing.
Speaking to media persons at his Thangmeiband Khomdram Selungba Leikai residence, PRJA convenor Erendro Leihombam said that the newly formed regional party PRJA will contest the coming State Assembly election with five candidates from Wabagai, Thoubal, Lilong, Karong and Thangmeiband.
As the party was formed recently, it does not have many candidates for now, he added.
He pointed out that the party had been created with the vision of long term sustainability and as such they will start out with a small yet solid and effective unit which will be able to last a long time.
Erendro said that the party was formed with an aim to bring a new generation Manipur and to be a voice for the common people.
"PRJA was created with the help of the humble 10 rupees donations from the people of the State who wanted to bring change and development to our motherland", he said.
He urged the people to make the PRJA's wave felt across the State just like big political parties like Congress and BJP.
