BJP to take up corruption scams in Ibobi Govt in Parliament

Bharatya Janata Party (BJP) is all set to bring up corruption cases in Chief Minister O Ibobi Singh led Congress government in the upcoming session of the Parliament scheduled to commence from November 22 .
According to reports received from the party's State Unit, prior to bringing up the corruption cases on the floor of the Parliament, P Chandra Shekhar Rao, Zonal Organisation Secretary, North East-in-charge will be arriving in the state tomorrow.
During his visit in the state, Rao will be meeting with leaders of BJP, State Unit as well as other opposition parties to discuss the matter.
Rao has been sent to Manipur by the party's High Command to discuss in detail the issues of scams which Chief Minister O Ibobi himself is involved.
Though no specific points on the issues to be raised in the Parliament have been revealed by BJP, Manipur State Unit, yet there are unconfirmed reports which indicate that the issues to be raised include the present 'illegal appointment' mess in the State Assembly and the scandal related to cleaning of Loktak Lake involving crores of rupees.
It has also been reported that the tentative date for Presidential election of BJP, Manipur State Unit would be fixed during the visit of P Chandra Shekhar Rao and it is going to be a straight fight between the incumbent President and the Vice President.
It may be mentioned here that a delegation consisting of members of all Opposition political parties in the state including CPI, MPP, JD (U), JD (S), CPI (M), Trinamool Congress and BJP has already decided to leave Imphal for Delhi shortly to meet leaders of national parties and brief them about the present situation in the state.
The delegation will also press the national leaders to bring up the issues of Manipur in the Parliament.
