Naga reconciliation message rings out loudly

Dimapur, February 29 2012:
Over fifty thousand Nagas sang 'We shall overcome' waving Naga flags at Agri Expo ground in Dimapur today.
They cheered and roared in approval when NSCN-IM general secretary Thuingaleng Muivah said, "We Nagas have not come to this world to worship Nehru-Gandhi family�"We have our history and we the Naga people can best decide our own future.
This is our sovereign right" .
Under the aegis of Forum for Naga Reconciliation (FNR), Nagas from Nagaland, Manipur, Myanmar, Arunachal Pradesh and Assam conglomerated at Agri Expo ground in Dimapur today to witness various Naga underground leaders pledging to take Naga reconciliation process to a new height.
Leaders of NNC (Non-Accordist), GPRN/NSCN (Kitovi-Khole group), NSCN-IM, FGN participated in the event.
A.Z Phizo's daughter Adino Phizo sent her message from London, which was read out at the occasion.
Addressing the gathering, Th Muivah said for everything there is a season and for the Nagas too there is a season.
He asserted that the government of India should respect the history of Nagas and "we Nagas will reciprocate it" .
Naga Hoho president Kevilietuo asked the Naga underground organisations to 'minimize the tax collection' and observed that reconciliation not only among the Nagas but with "our oppressors will come but subject to settlement' .
United Naga Council president Adani appealed to the Nagas to strengthen the reconciliation process.
Naga scholar Nikettu Iralu called for healing process and to 'keep it clean' .
"No room for self righteousness.
We need each other," advocated Iralu.
