Titular king exhorts students

Titular King of Manipur, Meidingu Leishemba Sanajaoba has appealed the student organisations of the State to adopt an honest approach in producing good students.
He was speaking at the oath taking ceremony of the new office executives of Democratic Students Alliance of Manipur (DESAM) for 2012-13 tenure held at Royal Palace today.
Maintaining that good students are the pillars of the future society, Leishemba Sanajaoba stressed on the need to work honestly and courageously by the students of the present day.
He pointed out that the people of current generation suffer due to the mistakes committed by people of past generation.
So, the people of current generation, especially students, must not repeat the past mistakes in order to fend off the sufferings being faced in the current date, he added.
Speaking at the occasion, former DESAM president LC Santosh said, DESAM has been putting in effort to mould the students as future leaders as well as enable them to get acquainted with the global changes.

K Yaiphaba, Kh Jeena and Y Yaiphaba also took oath as deputy organisation and co-ordination.
