Mass COVID-19 vaccination conducted at various places

In continuation of the COVID-19 preventive measures, Moirang College, Moirang in association with Covid Task Force Moirang carried out a mass Covid vaccination drive at Community Health Centre Moirang today.
During the drive, a medical team led by CHC Moirang MO in charge, Dr L Japan vaccinated a total of 115 persons including NCC cadets of the College, students, staff and families.
Moreover, a medical team under the supervision of CMO Bishnupur carried out a mobile vaccination campaign in Bishnupur for the people above the age of 55 years.
The team went from house-to-house and vaccinated a total of 40 persons above the age of 55 years.
CHANDEL
Autonomous District Council Chandel, caretaker Chairman, D Ringo Lamkang in association with Deputy Commissioner Chandel, Mayanglambam Rajkumar; Chief Medical Officer Chandel, Dr Serthani Serbum; ADC Chandel, Chief Executive Officer/ADM Chandel, Kshetrimayum Siddarth; and SDO Chandel, N Pritam jointly organised a mass vaccination programme at New Chayang village in Chandel district on Tuesday.
During the drive carried out by the District Health Society Chandel with the assistance of New Chayang Village Authority, 54 persons were vaccinated.
IMPHAL
Top Chingtha Youth Progressive Organization (TYPO), Nongpok Ningthou Youth Club (NNYA), Laimanai Youth Club Yairipok (LYCY) under the supervision of CMO Imphal East carried out mass Covid vaccination at Nongpok-Ningthou Panthoibi Laibung at Top Chingtha yesterday.
The mass vaccination was carried out in association with SDO Keirao Bitra, SDC Tulihal, Tulihal Zilla Parishad member, Pradhan Top Chingtha Gram Panchayat and Ward members.
About 200 persons were vaccinated during the mass vaccination drive.
THOUBAL
COVID-19 Task Force of Bamon Leikai Youth Club, Yairipok (BYCY ) in collaboration with Yairipok Municipal Council under the supervision of Thoubal DC organised a mass Covid vaccination drive at the club's premises today.
A total of 97 persons were vaccinated during the drive.
