India is among the top corrupt nations of the world.
The trend is giving a severe blow to the poor people who suffer the most.
As corruption increases, unrest and social turmoil will increase more.
The prevailing situation of unrest, turmoil and crimes in the state are the direct reasons of ever increasing corruption.
The present electoral system in which one can win an election by a margin of one vote is one of the main reasons of ever increasing cash distribution in times of election.
The current system is not the mandate of the majority of the people.
However Proportional Electoral System which has been already implemented in some European countries will successfully solve the problem of cash for vote issue.
Nepal a new democratic country has already adopted the Proportional Electoral System.
