It might be mentioned that in 2017, Naga People Front (NPF) won the elections in the hill districts of Manipur with its election manifestos, which vowed to support Indo-Naga political dialogue and to strengthen Article 371(C) for better and efficient governance.
The MLA continued that the settlement of Indo-Naga political dialogue at the earliest would end the conflict and restore peace, which is the way forward for bringing development in the State.
He further proposed to increase the number of existing House from 60 seats to 100 in the upcoming delimitation exercise.
Alfred also mentioned about the rehabilitation of youths who have returned to the State due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
