Imphal, April 11:
Various social and women organisations condemned the brutal killing of Laimujam (O) Shantibala of Tentha.
According to a press statement sent out by Ethno Heritage Council (HERICOUN), the Council would stand against such brutal killings.
The State Government must stop such killings before it become an epidemic by bringing the culprits into book, the release added.
Meanwhile, women organisations like Village Women Co-ordinating Committee, Sangaithel, Women Development Association, Kshetri Chandam Leikai and Women Action for Develoment also strongly condemned the killing of young widow Shantibala.
