Taking the message of a united struggle against drugs and intoxicating substances and to create awareness about the adverse impacts of drug abuse on Muslim community, a cycle rally was flagged off from Hatta Masjid by Labour Commissioner AR Khan today.
The march being organised by the AMADA is being participated by 16 activists and two moulavis.
The rally which will wind up on April 25 will travel to all the places of Manipur inhabited by Muslims.
During the rally, public meetings will also organised at different places to create awareness about the adverse impacts of intoxicating substances and drugs.
The flag off ceremony was attended by Labour Commissioner AR Khan as chief guest and general secretary of AMADA head office Ph Phoney Meitei as functional president.
