Training programme for SHGs concludes

A two-day training programme on marketing management and micro finances for SHGs concluded today at St Paul Retreat House, Mantripukhri.
Resource persons of the training programme, organised by World Vision India, were Kh Ajit Singh and K Sharatchandra, faculty members of Institute of Cooperative Management (ICM), Lamphelpat, informed a statement.
Addressing the gatherings, L Michael Singh, CDC, WVI Sadar Hills ADP shared the important updates of Self Help Groups in hill areas.
He also shared the strategy to capture economic products while also stressing on the need to maintain good and healthy relations with financial institutions and banks, etc.
As a resource person, Kh Ajit Singh threw lights on marketing concept, marketing mix, communication mix, product life cycle.
K Sharatchandra dwelt on the significance of micro finance system, documentation, retail management of SHG products, etc.
S Seijang Haokip, Programme Manager of World Vision Sadar Hills ADP distributed certificates to the participants.
Representatives of 14 different SHGs of Sadar Hills took part in the training programme, the statement said.
