OHYSO conducts voluntary services

Oinam Hill Youth and Students' Organization (OHYSO) has
set an example of reaching out to the needy in a different way.
A
team comprising of 50 OHYSO members stationed at Oinam
hill for two days wherein they carried out social works to help
the needy in the village.
OHYSO members renovated the houses of widows and
widowers, of the old and weak senior citizens, white-
washed the village community hall, cleared the surroundings
of the sickly and disabled elders, electrified houses of
elderly citizens and other needy people in the village.
Led by its president PK Romeo Polah, the activities
were aimed to set a difference and bring positive change
through voluntary works.
The service expenditure for the said program was managed by the executives of OHYSO, our correspondent
reports.
