Music festival participants feted

Multi Disciplinary Approach Board and Apokpa Marup Yumnam Huidrom today felicitated Manipuri troupe which participated in the recently held Nepal International Dance and Music Festival at Kathmandu.
Attended by Dr Th Chandramani and N Mangi as the chief guest and president, the programme was highlighted by various cultural performances.
Congratulating the Manipuri troupe for winning the competition, Multi Disciplinary Approach Board president N Mangi asserted that the achievement has not only brought laurels but had also promoted the State's rich culture.
Meantime, Sakok Thiren, one of the foremost ancient eras of the Meiteis, which was transcribed into Meitei Mayek and two other foreign languages by Dr Th Chandramani were also released during today's programme.
