Final poll percentage recorded at 79.96%

The overall polling report of all the 60 constituencies of the state in the recently held 10th State Assembly election has been submitted to the Election Commission of India (ECI).
The report records a poll percentage of 79.96%. As per the report, the total number of female voters who cast their votes exceeded the number of males by 53,000. Meanwhile, it is reported that the photos of the electors which were taken during the time of casting their votes will be checked and compared with their photos in the electoral rolls and the detail report will also be sent to the ECI at the earliest.
According to information received from the State Election Office, it has been revealed that among the 17,41,581 voters in the state 13,92,596 voters turned out to cast their votes.
They included 6,31,223 male voters and 6,94,893 female voters.
N Prabin, Joint CEO said that the process of checking the similarity of the photos taken during the time of casting votes and the photos of the electors in the electoral rolls is in progress.
The ECI has also demanded the details in this regard at the earliest.
Hopefully the process will be completed in a week's time and the report will be submitted accordingly.
The ECI will minutely check the details and will finalise on whether to conduct re-poll again or not.
